Vitamin injections start at ¥490 and IV drips at ¥3,500 at Shinbashi Ginza Swift Clinic, one minute from Shimbashi Station. Placenta is ¥490, biotin ¥500, garlic ¥800, and vitamin C and glutathione ¥900 each. The hyper garlic drip is ¥3,500 and high-dose vitamin C ¥5,000. Injections take a few minutes; allow about half an hour for a drip.

Important information

Injection site pain, bruising and light-headedness can occur. Placenta preparations are derived from human placenta: once you have received one you are permanently unable to donate blood in Japan. The doctor will confirm you understand this before treating.
High-dose vitamin C is not given where you have a G6PD deficiency or certain kidney conditions. The doctor checks this beforehand.
All treatments on this page are self-pay (自由診療). Japanese national health insurance does not apply, and the full amount is charged at the clinic.

Common questions

How long does it take?

Injections are a few minutes. Drips take longer as they run in — allow roughly half an hour at the clinic including the consultation.

Something for a hangover?

Yes. The hangover injection (Strong Neo-Minophagen C) is ¥900, glutathione is ¥900, and the hyper garlic drip at ¥3,500 is the heavier option. The clinic opens at 10:00 at weekends and on public holidays.

Do I need to book?

Booking is safer, particularly at busy times, but the schedule often allows walk-ins. Last admission is 30 minutes before closing on a first visit.

Why is placenta ¥490?

Because it is priced per ampoule rather than per course. The clinic prices injections and drips individually, which is why they are among the lowest in central Tokyo.
