Semaglutide can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, constipation and abdominal discomfort. Serious adverse effects are possible. Hypoglycaemia risk can rise with insulin or certain diabetes medicines. Tell the doctor about your medical history, current medicines, pregnancy plans, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Seek urgent care for severe or persistent abdominal pain, repeated vomiting, dehydration, a serious allergic reaction or rapidly worsening symptoms.
