You can be seen here without speaking Japanese. Consultations are handled with a translation app and written notes rather than by an English-speaking doctor, which works well for treatments where the decision is straightforward — repeat prescriptions, testing, hair removal — and is slower where you have a complicated history to explain. Microneedling is uncomfortable rather than painful for most people. Topical anaesthetic is available at ¥9,000 if you would rather not find out.
Expect redness resembling mild sunburn for a day or two, sometimes with flaking afterwards. Plan it around anything you need to look presentable for, and keep sun exposure down while the skin recovers.
